SSS Disability Benefit 2026: Calculator, Requirements and How to Claim

Quick answer: SSS pays a disability benefit to members with a permanent partial or permanent total disability who paid at least 1 monthly contribution before the semester of disability. With at least 36 contributions, you get a monthly disability pension (minimum ₱1,000 to ₱2,400) plus a ₱500 supplemental allowance and a ₱1,000 additional benefit; with fewer, you get a lump sum.

How Much Is the SSS Disability Benefit?

  • Monthly pension (36+ contributions before the semester of disability): the highest of ₱300 + 20% of AMSC + 2% of AMSC per credited year beyond 10; 40% of AMSC; or the minimum pension of ₱1,000 (under 10 years), ₱1,200 (10–19 years) or ₱2,400 (20+ years).
  • Extras for pensioners: ₱500 supplemental disability allowance, ₱1,000 additional benefit, and a 13th-month pension. Total disability pensioners also get a dependent’s pension (10% or ₱250 per child under 21, up to five).
  • Lump sum (fewer than 36 contributions): total disability — monthly pension × contributions paid or 12 × monthly pension, whichever is higher; partial disability — the same multiplied by the percentage of disability.

Disability pensioners also receive the 10% pension increase every September from 2025 to 2027 (see SSS changes 2025–2027).
