How to Compute Your PhilHealth Contribution
- Take your monthly basic salary (use ₱10,000 if it is lower, ₱100,000 if it is higher).
- Multiply by 5% to get the total premium.
- Employed: split it in half — 2.5% is deducted from your salary and 2.5% is paid by your employer.
Example: ₱25,000 × 5% = ₱1,250 a month; you pay ₱625 and your employer pays ₱625.
